Hamilton's vibrant Farmers Market is one of the Southern Grampians' most popular community events, held on the fourth Saturday of every month along Lonsdale Street in the heart of the city. With over 40 local producers and stall holders, the market is a wonderful showcase of the region's incredible agricultural bounty and creative spirit.
Visitors can browse fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables direct from local farms, sample and purchase artisan breads, regional cheeses, local honey, flavoured oils and preserves, free-range eggs and premium cuts of Western District beef and lamb. The market also features a thriving handmade goods section with locally crafted jewellery, ceramics, textiles and seasonal plants.
Live music sets a lively, welcoming atmosphere throughout the market hours, and a selection of food trucks and coffee vans ensure you can enjoy breakfast or brunch as you browse. The market is a fantastic way to connect with the local community and take home a taste of the Southern Grampians.

From the park, head east along Ballarat Road and into the city centre. Lonsdale Street is in the heart of Hamilton — the market is easy to find and well signposted on market days. Street parking is available throughout the CBD, and the walk from the park on a Saturday morning is a pleasant one.
